Welcome to the VCU Transfer Center.

Whether you began your higher education journey at a community college or another four-year institution, we’ll make sure you feel right at home here. We work with prospective, incoming and currently enrolled transfer students to ensure a smooth transition to VCU and successful progress toward graduation.

  • 1,585 new undergraduate transfer students enrolled in fall 2020
  • 29% of new undergraduates to VCU in fall 2020 were transfers
  • 87% of transfer students were retained, fall 2019 to fall 2020
