Now that you’ve completed your transfer, get the most out of your time at VCU by exploring our wide array of extracurricular opportunities.
Tau Sigma National Honor Society
Tau Sigma, the national honor society for transfer students, recognizes the academic achievement of students transferring to VCU and promotes involvement in activities such as recruiting efforts, transfer student orientations, community service projects and social events.
You’re eligible for membership if you’ve completed at least one year at a prior institution and earned at least a 3.5 GPA or placed in the top 20 percent of all incoming transfer students during the first term. Email email@example.com for more details.
Phi Alpha Kappa Transfer Society
Phi Alpha Kappa helps transfer students integrate into the VCU community. Society members provide personal support, facilitate academic and social networking opportunities and connect new students with positive and productive experiences. Membership is open to all students, faculty and staff at VCU.
Transition Leaders are students who have successfully transferred to VCU. They’re here to help you acclimate to campus and access resources/services that can help you succeed. Transfer Leaders are available to answer any questions you have about your transition to Richmond and the VCU community.
